A Hankering for Travel and Award-Winning Chocolate

How is your simplifying going? Mine is good. A big part of my simplifying for chaos reduction is in my bedroom. And I got some more chaos and clutter put away today! This blog is helping me! Let's blast those tunes and do a happy dance! I hope you find solace, motivation, or even just a minute to yourself to recoup and come up with a plan. (I don't know about you, but I can't clean and put stuff away without a plan.)

Let's do a travel post right off the bat! Follow this link to see the amazing chocolate fountain, the largest chocolate fountain in the world!, which can be found at The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. It is right outside the Jean-Philippe Patisserie. We have family in the area and they have invited us to stay and maybe we can all see the fountain together! Summer travel plans are underway. I joked with the mom about how we'd be leaving one hot desert for another.

Here are facts about the fountain. It wasn't designed by Jean-Philippe (I thought at first it was), it's big! And you can't get access to it, it's behind glass. I was hoping to dip something in it, but maybe I'll just buy an amazing pastry and be amazed! I am having fond memories of the chocolate fountain at my wedding reception. Vegas is about 5 hours away, so maybe my travel will be a weekend trip with family and visiting family! Howdy howdy! -Danelle
PS Anyone know how to format some line breaks in Blogger? I usually do BR in carrots, but I don't think that's the proper way.

Sewing Baby Bibs and Burp Cloths

Once upon a time there was a girl with a fabric stash. This girl liked to sew, although with two babies and ten years of marriage and moves, and some of them were intensive, expensive, moving-van-driving car-towing three day cross-country moves, her sewing time was limited. (It was non-existent.) Moves are rough, especially when you move so far that it requires you to find new doctors and dentists for your kids, to stand in long waits at the DMV for new license plates, to be on the phone forever to update car insurance info (one must do this when one moves to a new state), to hope to make a bunch of friends in the next few months. (It takes time! Loneliness is real!) Setting up house again and again, getting used to the new area, not getting lost, finding new parks to play at, and new libraries to borrow from, it gets overwhelming.
